OHIO DEPARTMENT OF REHABILITATION & CORRECTIONS (ORDC)WTN supports ODRC and the Ohio Corrections Technology Network (OCTN) under a memorandum of understanding among AFRL, NASA Glenn Research Center, and ODRC. OCTN is an association of Ohio corrections and law enforcement agencies led by ODRC. OCTN identifies common problems that could be remedied by application of innovative technologies. WTN collaborates with the Great Lakes Industrial Technology Center (GLITeC) in providing support to OCTN and ODRC. OCTN participants include the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), Air Force Security Police, the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and Office of Law Enforcement Technology Center (OLETC). OCTN conducts quarterly meetings at ODRC, Air Force and NASA facilities to identify requirements for innovative technologies. OCTN reviews industry, Air Force, and NASA presentations on new products and research activities. The goal of Air Force and NASA participation is to transfer technologies from federal laboratories to industry and state government. |
