AIR FORCE RESEARCH LABORATORY (AFRL) AND AIR FORCE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (AFIT)
COOPERATIVE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS (CRADAS)
WTN facilitates AFRL and AFIT CRADAs
with academia and industry. CRADAs are
special written agreements established under the United States technology transfer
laws that permit private companies and federal laboratories to jointly conduct
research and development projects. CRADAs allow the federal laboratories to help
companies solve technical problems, develop new technologies and/or evaluate
new products.
CRADA activities often lead to the creation of new products/processes. They
may also result in new jobs and new business ventures. WTN has extensive
experience in facilitating CRADAs between AFRL and companies throughout the
United States.
